Yes, I'm switching to the graveyard shift at work, which is why comics are going to be late. It's a long story, but I wound up working my previous (day) shift on Saturday, which means we had this 38-hour gap between them. I'm not sure if it was two short days or one long day. It involved sporadic napping and I'm not sure if we had extra meals or not enough. Or what they're called. I think I had breakfast, then three lunches in a row. Anyhow, Isabel is rotating her schedule 240 degrees to match mine as well. We got a fair amount done, but none of it was daily comics, so we'll probably have those updated Sunday afternoon (PST)

Welcome to another week of comics... first off about the IRC Chat- this is the last one we're going to be having for the year (since people will be going away from their PCs this time of year, we decided to give them a short break). They'll resume either late January or early Febuary. Thank you to everyone who has shown up to them!

I spent the last couple of days writing Sea Dreams Book 2 related things and hope to start work on last month's bonus book soon, sorry for the long wait! On the plus side, for this month and next, the two day a week bonus comics over at NamirDeiter.net will be a short story based in the Sea Dreams universe (although not having anything to actually do with the Sea Dreams story). In about a week or so it'll make more or less sense (or just confuse the heck out of you till New Years). Either way, it was a lot of fun to write and hopefully you all will enjoy it!

Shandra in Wonderland is going full steam ahead... I can honestly say I had a one month long mental block with working on this comic which I think I've broken. Once it's done (and up) I will start work on Sea Dreams Book 2, so this waiting period won't happen again. Thank you ever so much for everyone's patience (or, at the least, for not flooding my in box with hate mail XO).

Terrence automated You Say it First's comic-count... we were five comics off (in a good way). So, you can now go back and enjoy comic 700 back when it happened last Wednesday!

I said I'd make up all the comics I missed and here they are.

Even though it was mentioned that I "took the weekend off", in truth I used the time to catch up with the comics I had missed throughout the week. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

I'm sure some of you out there are at least a bit curious about why updates seem to have been so wonky as of late- it's really just been me dealing with some private family issues and going from almost not being sick to being sick again. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused any of you.

Shandra in Wonderland still has a lot of work to be done to it, I am sorry to keep you all waiting on it. Please remember that donator's NamirDeiter.net's bonus sites and bonus monthly book sites are on different systems- even when your month of all the bonus content over at the bonus site is over, you still have six month's access to the monthly book section and that six months don't start until the book comes out.

Speaking of the monthly donation, it's the end of the year which means it's time to for the seasonal tweaking of the donation drive...

Usually, if we make the $1000 each month you all get the extra on-line comics, everything over at namirdeiter.net and a 12 page bonus book. However, donations get rather low this time of year, so we're doing combined drive for November and December.

For the month of October (this month), if we make the $1000 goal, we'll have the deluxe web comic schedule (7 Namir Deiter comics a week, 6 You Say it First comics a week and 3 Spare Parts comics a week) for the months of November and December. Sounds good? Well, there is one small catch.... there will only be one 12 page bonus book for November and December.

Now, for November and December, we will have one donation drive for the two months (of $1000). If that goal is made, then January will have the deluxe web comic schedule (as listed above), and all of namirdeiter.net's bonus items plus the 12 page bonus book.

This is only the second year of the donation site and as such, we're still tweaking the system. I will *try* to have more bonus goodies that don't involve long comic books, but right now I just need a break (although this really won't be much of one) and as the last three months of the year are very low in donations, this is as good as time as ever. I should have implemented this at the beginning of the month, but this hasn't been a good month for thinking clearly.

On the bright side the pressure of "Will the comic continue the deluxe updating schedule this month?!" will be off for a few months while everyone enjoys the rest of the year.
