Oh yeah, some of you may have known that last Saturday was 24-hour comic book day, where all us cartoony people try and draw a 24 page story in 24 hours. Well, counting the fact that I was sick as crap and trying to color four pages (and draw and color two Sunday comics), so I was to busy to work on comics... because I was working on comics. Well... it may not be official, but Terrence and I are going to have our own 24-hour comic book day this Thursday, as long as we're not still feeling so blah. Wish us luck. XD

Isabel is taking another personal day - she's getting sick. We're working on the comics - she has them inked and scanned. They should be coloured and up for you some time tomorrow (afternoon, we hope). We thought it was just personal stress and that taking a breather day would help things, but it's a cold. Comics will be backdated, so be sure to check the archives when we get back.

Wallpapers will be a little late, but there are a bunch of bonus wallpapers from the last two weeks (including a new Comic Pirates category).

Isabel will be a bit slow - there were a number of personal events last week. We don't feel like going into detail here, but it'll take a while to get back up to full steam. So if things are a bit slow, that's why.

Also, there have been several reports of innocent people being banned in Maple Story. We're going to be taking a break from our main characters for a bit, at least until we're sure this is cleared up. Probably a week or two.

Due to an unforseen event, the IRC chat this Wednesday has been cancelled.

Another week, another 1,500 comics. Happy sesquicentennial times ten, Namir Deiter.

The month is almost over and we're still half way to our goal for the next month... please consider donating, especially if you miss the deluxe, luxurious (so soft and silky) updating schedule, of seven Namir Deiter, six You Say it First and three Spare Parts comics a week. We're also a bit shy of reaching our goal for this month's bonus book "Shandra in Wonderland", so please consider donating and thank you to everyone who already have donated - you are what's keeping the comics going.

We're going to be doing something a little different with November and December's bonus drives, possibly October's to... those of you who remembered last year's combined November/December drive take heart, it'll be a whole lot less confusing.

In NamirDeiter.net, our bonus site for donators only, we have a few tidbits of news... we got a new site design going on for Fall, a new poll to the left of the main page's bonus content (if you're a donator please vote, as I value your input), tons of new wallpapers (including a larger version of the image used in this month's site design) and... A NEW ND CHAT!

That's right... our weekly Internet MP3ed babble podcast is back and we need more questions! If you're a donator, please consider checking it out and please send us questions to use in these chats... Terrence and myself babbling for half an hour without any actual goal can get kind of boring after a while, well, for you anyway. We do it all the time on our own time.

We may eventually start doing shorter non-donator ND Chats, but we're not even going to try that until we get the hang of the donator podcasts first... and in order to do that, we need more questions. I think it's one of those catch-22 things... anyway, please send up questions and we will do our best to answer them.

Not really huge news, but there is a new layout over at the ND Unlimited Store, just in time to celebrate the start of Fall. Please check it out and consider purchasing a book!

Also, I failed to mention last week that I've launched another site for donators, GroverHills.com, the official site for the donor-only webcomic The View from Grover Hills. Hopefully I'll have more bonus items on that site by next month...

Not much news to report... I've been knee deep in working on Sea Dreams, last month's bonus book. I'm happy to announce that as of writing this up, all 12 pages are drawn and inked. As long as it does not interfere with our still unmade birthday plans for Terrence (the 13th of this month) it should be up no later than the end of this week.

This month's donation goal is going at a nice clip, please consider donating and help support the comic (and as always, thank you to those who have donated already or are considering it).

There was going to be more site update stuff, but I've decided to give the birthday boy a week off from all his PHPing duties- or whatever magical program he's using these days. So hopefully more things next week. Please wish Terrence birthday wishes and thank him for the crazy complicated site I can no longer update on my own (and I mean that in the most sincere way possible).

On the video game front...quick update to the Bera sever Guild Terrence and myself were planning over on Maple Story- long story short we never got enough people interested to form the guild (literally- you need 6 people), which was why it never happened. We might try again at a later date, but till then, if you like on-line RPG games, try out Maple Story. Terry and myself both play it more than we should and quite enjoy ourselves while playing.
