Isabel's sister is raising money for surgery for her dog. If you donate, we'd appreciate it.

If she makes her goal, we will publicly release a twelve-page bonus comic.

If she makes double her goal - and what she's asking for covers half of the cost - we will publicly release a twenty-four page bonus comic.

What will the book be about? We kinda haven't thought that far ahead. We'll put a poll up when she makes the goal. I've got a Patrick and Sofia story set post-YSiF that I've been kicking around for a while, but it's up to you.

We mentioned more changes last time. As you've probably seen, we've taken comics off the front page of NamirDeiter.com. This is because we've got Nicole and Derek and The NDU, and both comics have equal claims to being the new ND.

We'd prefer if you read both, of course. We're hoping to improve the website further in the near future, but this is the big step we've been looking to take.

We've been updating the sites a bit this weekend. We've got more to come in the next few days.

The NDU has a new logo.

100% Cat has been moved to NDUNlimited.com. Please update your bookmarks.

Wonderkittens now has an archive page.

The NDU can be included on the NamirDeiter.net commentary page. We just need to write commentary for it. Wonderkittens is also included in the NamirDeiter.net commentary page. We will not be providing commentary on Wonderkittens because we do not believe further explanation will improve the it. It just is.

The NamirDeiter.net Quickview page now includes Nicole and Derek, The NDU, and Wonderkittens.

The NDU has been added to ND Unlimited.

Namir Deiter's archive page has been updated.

Sort tags by popularity now works at NamirDeiter.net.

Yes, party people, you read right; I have started another comic.

It's over at http://thendu.com/ and I would love it if you'd check it out! So far only one page is out, but hopefully I will update it with more this week. As of right now I am not sure what "The NDU"s schedule will be. As long as Terrence keeps up his writing duties despite a busted pinkie (oh yeah, about two weeks ago Terrence broke his pinkie finger. He's healing nicely, but it has made typing difficult for him) Nicole and Derek should continue updating five days a week. Wonder Kittens seem to work rather well on a one-comic-a-week update (It's been difficult for me to write one-shot style random comics as of late; my goal is to try and get WK to 100 comics by the end of the year though, so hopefully I can).

Honestly, I am just as surprised as all of you might be that we are revealing The NDU today. We only decided on a final name around...8:30 PM PST, I think? I've had some scripts and character designs done up for a... few days? now, but even I wasn't expecting this. I hope this is a pleasant surprise for all of you as well!

You may notice a few familiar faces and new ones with an old feel to them... things over at The NDU are somewhat similar to what you once knew, but also very much different. I hope you all enjoy this whirlwind of three comics updating today. Ironically, that's all the news we have for tonight, hope you all have a good week!

Firstly, the comments (over at NicoleAndDerek.com) have taken off nicely. We're glad of that and thank all of you.

Secondly, we are contributing to The Sunday Comics, a collection of comics. If the Kickstarter is successful, it will be printed in newspaper and hardcover format. We're contributing Wonderkittens comics, and 150 other talented creators are also working on it. Go check it out!

Thirdly, our friend, Rachel Dukes, is having a Kickstarter for a new issue of Frankie Comics and hand-made plush dolls. If you like cats (and if you're reading this, there's a fairly good chance that you do) you should check it out. There are only eight days left, so hurry!

We've got comments on the comics, over at NicoleAndDerek.com. If you want to talk about the individual comics, that's the best place to do it! We've still got the forums, which are the other best place to talk about the comics. If you're reading this from NamirDeiter, it'd be cool if you updated your bookmarks. New stuff - like the updated cast page - will be over at NicoleAndDerek.com.

Also, as some of you have noticed, we're not posting the comic to Facebook anymore. We've got a few reasons for that; the people who ran our auto-posting app aren't in that line of work any more. Facebook delivers the links its algorithms think are most likely to interest you; as such it's not a substitute for an RSS feed and we can't count on it to give a reader all the updates - and we think that randomly skipping pages doesn't make for good reading in any book. In the meantime, if you want to follow the comics you can come back here every update day (and we'll be keeping things five days a week as long as we can), follow the official twitter, or watch our RSS feed.

You know, it's been a while, so what the hey, here's a news update. Welcome to May, everyone. Hope you're having a good one...

First off, I've been sporadically placing late WIP images of ND over on my Instagram account, please check it out... as long as dolls and Furbys don't freak you out. If they DO freak you out, I usually link to the comic-related posts over on my Twitter as well. So give both or either accounts a follow if you would.

Also, we put up a little (but kind of long) image up over on namirdeiter.com that links to Nicole and Derek's official site, where one day you'll be able to find cool stuff, like... a character's page... and... linking... buttons? I don't know, but hopefully I'll come up with more things than just that. Either way, I would love it if you all came by and visited the new site. We're still working on the site design, but those have always been "forever works in progress" with me, so we'll see just where it goes.

So... thank you to everyone who stuck it through the hiatus during the comic's changing of the guard! We're almost at a month now with the comic, hooray!
