|So, what happened tonight?
Well, there we were just minding our own business when suddenly our bathroom flooded. The good news is that it wasn't our fault and management was able to send somebody to fix our upstairs neightbor's plumbing.
The bad news is that we still had a bathroom full of water. So that's where our day went. Between handling that, waiting for them to fix it, and Isabel thoroughly cleaning the place now that the water's gone, that's where our day went. Sorry about that.
I've realized that I can't smell scented cleansers without thinking of Lemon Technology, so that's a plus, maybe?
We mentioned Isabel was having some dental issues last week.
We were out shopping and suddenly her mouth felt different. This is almost never a good thing. Even fairy tales don't go "Suddenly her mouth felt different. She probed underneath her tongue and found a solid gold coin."
So her tooth was chipped. We made a dental appointment. I was hoping that they could just fix it with tooth glue (note to self: find out if tooth glue is a thing). One X-ray later, we found out that it wasn't just chipped. It was cracked, which means they had to grind it down and put a crown on it.
The good news is that we have good insurance. We have a very good dentist who was able to fit us in the next day. We were able to get this taken care of quickly and easily, and should count our blessings for that.
Still kinda sucked, though.

|We've got a big holiday coming up next week - Isabel's birthday. Also, Memorial Day.
We wanted to do two things - celebrate and take a vacation. So we'll be running seven days a week next week. We're taking a short break from Isaac and his drama to present you with seven one-panel comics - that's how it's a vacation. Then in June we'll be back to Isaac's life and the women in it (and we'll adjust things so that this arc runs uninterrupted in the archives).
So come back Monday - and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

|What's new? Why, ND Unlimited got a makeover. It's a bit simpler, which is good since it's a guide to finding all our stuff. Go check it out!

|Life is full of surprises. Like, "Hey, your relatives are in town and you're going to spend all evening with them". Which isn't so bad as far as surprises go, really. Just a bit inconvenient if you were planning on getting comics drawn that evening.|
So comics will be up on Monday. We'll have double comics on Wednesday to make up for it - the pacing works better that way. In the meantime, we hope you have a happy Easter weekend (or, if you don't observer Easter, have a happy weekend).

|A month or so ago we asked folks over at NamirDeiter.net what they wanted to see in a bonus book.
We got a lot of answers, and had to make some decisions. Isabel started writing an Elemental Story book. I started working on a You Say it First book. I finished first so we've got a new You Say it First Book. To answer your questions:
It's a dozen pages, counting the front cover.
It's either ten one-page comics or one ten-page comic, depending on how you count things.
It's set a few years after the end of You Say it First.
Yes, you will see at least one baby.
If you donated in November or December, you have access to it through the NamirDeiter.net library. If you donate $5 or more in January, you get access to it as well.
Will there be more bonus comics? That depends on you. The bigger a reaction we get, the more likely we are to do this again.
Will there be more You Say it First? Not as a regular feature, but we've got a few other ideas we're considering for bonus stories.
