It's been a... weird, last few months. To say the least. A few things going on around here...

First off, August's donation thank you items have been sent out- thank you to all the donators who donated for both your donation and patience. If I wasn't already to the breaking point, I'd make an extra something for you all... but, at the least, all the bonus comics are up and made up for. Please head over to namirdeiter.net for more information, including how to sign up!

Over at You Say it First Land, the comic I missed a few weeks ago is now on-line. Click here to view that comic and click here to start from the beginning of that story arc!

E-mails... oh boy, e-mails. When I get over-stressed and over-worked my e-mail replying suffers. Unfortunately ever since I started the bonus site, that has pretty much been how I am 24/7. Fortunately this weekend I was able to get a lot more done, although I still have so much left to do (both Namir Deiter and You Say it First need their character's pages updated and things like that), so my e-mail will continue to suffer.

At the least, Namir Deiter's archive page was updated last week, sorry for not mentioning it sooner.

Today's comic is called on account of Kitten. It may be up some time tomorrow afternoon. We're probably going to call him Dennis. We spent the day getting Kitten Supplies, and the evening playing with him, to get him used to being around us. And we spent about three or four hours just kind of looking at the kitten; "looking at a kitten" takes significantly more time and energy than we had anticipated. And we had to kitten-proof the room. Previously, our room was kitten-proof in the same way that a well-trapped dungeon is burglar-proof. It is now kitten-proof in an entirely opposite way. We cleared out the spike pits and roving orcs. There was 10 gold pieces and a mysterious longsword behind one of the couches, I think. Anyhow, we are, at the moment, poor in energy but rich in kitten. Therefore you get comic tomorrow or so.

First off, a slight update on the kitten front - good news is, yes, I will be getting a kitty in about two weeks (the cat still needs to be weaned). The bad news is that the cat still needs to be weaned so it'll be two weeks before I actually have a kitty (the other bad news is that I might be taking off on a trip that same weekend as I'm supposed to get the cat, so I have no idea what's going to happen).

Next off, I'd like to apologize for the wonky hours the comic has been keeping lately. I really don't like missing update times. For the past couple years I've been working very hard on not having this happen. Unfortunately, stress from coping with Terrence's unemployment combined with a really weird summer cold has got me to the point where I can't help it. That, coupled with the stress from trying to complete Tipporomatic (I've been feeling so bad that I haven't had the willpower to even touch the project) and work on new books has left me, quite frankly, a mess. Hopefully, getting a cat will help me relax, which is one of the reasons Terrence is letting me get one.

The comic will continue to update every day as promised, however, don't be surprised if we update the afternoon instead of at midnight. I will put up announcements if I'm going to be really late, which hopefully I won't have to do too often.

In related news, I will have a few art auctions up by the end of the week to help pay for both human and kitty food alike. Please stay tuned and thank you for all your patience through this very unbearable time.

Hi, folks! We have less than a week left in the month! We're more than halfway to our donation goal, and with your help we can get there. Unfortunately, your donations are our only source of income right now.

Also, we've got our big summer sale - there's a very nice discount on most of our comics, especially the ones that aren't available online any more. If you want to complete your ND Unlimited collection (or start one), this is a great time.

The bad news is, I wasn't able to get the cast page finished yet... there are quite a few characters and research to be done.

The good news is, I was able to get the archive updated, added three new linking buttons located on the links page (and retired the old ones) plus I updated all the pages so they'll match the main page. Hopefully it'll be done by next week.

In other news, You Say it First Book 3 is well underway and will be done soon (I'm using the bonus mini books from a few months back, as well as a few original pages of content which will make the job easier- unlike the Namir Deiter Book 2 book, where I'll have to virtually redo EVERYTHING for the book, from scratch.

Hopefully I'll have more news next week!

Next month we will not be upping the final total to $1500, but not because Terrence found a job... after much talk and consideration we decided that, quite frankly, every month the donation total is met a little uncomfortably close to the end of the month, and adding more to the total might discourage people from donating even before we get to the $800 or $1000 total instead of the $1500 mark if the total is a bit small and we're near the end of the month.

So... what does that mean for all of you? Well, nothing will change, except next month's bonus book will be only 16 pages (it was going to be 20 if we added the extra $500- but at least it wasn't going to be 12 like this month's book was originally planned to be).

Speaking of this month's book... the four page bonus story is written, but due to being sick for most of the weekend, even writing was a chore.

I will continue doing the whole Sketch image days (when there are no comic updates on that day) for next month in the hopes of it brining new members in.

Hopefully I'll have more news (and better news) next week. Till then, take care!20050530

Anyway... we're almost to the end of the month and we're still quite a way from making our goal this month, if we make it, who knows... but let's see what the month will bring...

We've added a new feature to Namirdeiter.net this weekend- a Mt. Morhobiki Interactive Map! Get to know a little bit about the places behind the world. The map is of course very new and ever changing... hopefully we will be able to add more to it soon, as well as other features!

Don't forget all the goodies listed above, also, if you donate $50 you'll receive an 8x5 color image of a character of your choice! If you're interested, please consider donating today!
