Firstly, we're back after our excursion. We had a wonderful time and we're still working on catching up on e-mail and such.

About a week ago, Isabel's sister found an abandoned newborn kitten. Despite the best care we could give it, it died a few days later, which made drawing Snickers' obstetric appointment difficult for Isabel. A few days after that, we helped her pick out another kitten from the local animal shelter. While we were out of town, he stopped eating. We took him over to the local emergency vet's this morning. So, how does this affect you and us? For both kittens, we've been the...godparents? patrons? sponsors? Isabel's sister is a high school student and we're picking up the costs for them. So expect some kind of fundraiser in the near future. We will keep you posted on any new developments in a few days... thank you for your thoughts on the first kitten... and please send some postive thinking for this little one this way, we really need it...

Some of you are wondering what happened to the ND Chats we used to do. Well, we spent about five hours today trying to do one. We've had to replace both of our headset mics because the cats chewed through the cords. The replacement mics generate a very loud buzz (on my computer) or intermittent crackling (on our laptop). This is quite frustrating, especially because they had worked for an hour or so. Then stopped. (And yes, we recorded during that hour. It just didn't turn out very good). So we're probably going to return those mics and get new, better ones in the near future. Hopefully that will fix things. Or they'll just start working on their own yet again, maybe.

Firstly, we WILL be raffling off the originals of this month's wallpaper art. Isabel had a very bad cold and didn't want to get any of the winners sick. We decided to wait until she's feeling better before the wallpapers get drawn, and she is. But we will be raffling them off.
Speaking of such, last month's raffle was delayed slightly. We normally do those during our podcasts. However, our cats destroyed one of our microphones. Bit clean through the cord. We just got a new one today so hopefully we'll be back to recording soon.
The last set of gift boxes for last month's $50 donors have been made and will ship out tomorrow.

We are currently out of ND Yearbook 2005. We're not sure when we'll have more in. If there's a book there that you want, you should order it soon - we're running low on most everything.

The donation bar and such has been updated. If you donate $50 or more, you get the original art of one of the comics. You choose the series, we choose the day. Please let us know which series you'd prefer. If you don't tell us, we'll give you something from whichever comic you donated from. If you donated from the donation page or NamirDeiter.net or such (and didn't specify) we'll pick something at random. The art is on 8.5x11" xerox paper, black and white, inked with blue pencils. You get the original, mistakes and all. Note that some of the backgrounds and most of the lettering is digital.

Firstly, we made our donation goal for June! Thank you, everyone! We appreciate your support!
July's update schedule will be:
Namir Deiter - 7 days a week

You Say it First - 6 days a week (every day except Saturday)

Spare Parts - Monday, Wednesday, Friday

NamirDeiter.net - Comics Tuesday and Thursday. Sketches the other 5 days.

Note: We will not be giving away the original art for July's wallpapers

Also, the ND Unlimited Store is open. We have limited quantities of our books, currently and we're not sure when we'll get more in.

Thirdly, the avatars/paperdolls at NamirDeiter.net are working again! Enjoy!

06.23.2007 - Terrence Marks:
Firstly, the archive pages for all the comics (Namir Deiter, You Say it First, Spare Parts) have been updated.

Secondly, we've got some new fan art by Matthew Bett, of Cascade Failure!

Thirdly, reports of my hard drive's impending failure appear to have been greatly exaggerated. Now to just catch up on e-mail.

You know how we said the store was open? We were wrong. I spent the last two days getting the store installed, and its SQL code isn't getting along with our server. Our old store was far too complex for me to troubleshoot this, so we'll be getting a new, simpler, easier-to-use store up in the near future.
